Sr. Devops Engineer

We are an online advertising network focused exclusively on brand advertising with 25M in funding for the likes of Norwest and Interwest Partners. We have been generating revenue at an 80% increase each year for the last 3 years and expecting profitability within the next 6 months.                           

Sr. Devops Engineer

We are is looking for an experienced Sr. Devops Engineer to test internal libraries and tools and assist in development of our ad serving and reporting platforms. Experience in the advertising industry is a plus.

Required Experience/Skills:

• Strong Unix/Linux system administration skill set
• Expert unix shell scripting (bash, csh, ksh + all)
• Experienced with large scale automation and monitoring
• Understanding of network topography
• Familiar with system clustering at the application level
• Nice to have middleware, BI experience, specifically Microstrategy
• Big plus C/C++ or Java
• Big plus Hadoop experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Minimum 7 years experience Unix/Linux
• Minimum 7 years experience testing enterprise java applications
• Minimum 3 years experience testing and implementing C/C++ applications
• Required knowledge in java API development and application architecture
• Required knowledge of TCP/IP and networking programming
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
